Bible Study

Enough? Enough!

Loaves and Fishes

Many times we find ourselves asking the question, "Enough?"

If we fall under the spell of modern advertisers our answer is certainly "no." We become convinced no one can never have enough money or popularity or youth or time. When we find ourselves in this state of worry, the tone my parents used to signal an end to family bickering is appropriate - "Enough."

In prayer, we might approach God with an earnest plea for help or courage or assistance in carrying out a project, dealing with a difficulty or using a blessing. "Enough?"

Whatever the circumstance, God's grace is sufficient. There is enough mercy, enough love. God's gentle, reassuring answer through Christ,  "Enough!"

Join us for an evening of reflection on the people we will encounter in Scripture and in the Stations of the Cross during Holy Week as shown in art through the ages. Our time together will be a thoughtful and prayerful introduction to the Sacred Triduum.

Bible Study Off To Great Start

Romans Wow, the first day of Bible study is off to a great start. The Conference Room was packed and the enthusiasm was high for the group's study of St. Paul's Letter to the Romans.

The study group meets on Thursdays, September through April, from 9:30 to 11am in the Parish Center. Come to morning mass and Eucharist at 9:00 AM!

You don't need to be a Biblical expert, so consider joining the discussion on this richest of Paul's epistles. Call Eugenia Kelly at the Parish Office.

You can check out the flyers and registration forms at our website here.
