IT has diagnosed the problem with our church internet connectivity to a fault in the underground cable we laid to link the school and the church several years ago. Our business manager at the time took on the task and acted as foreman, engineer (which he was) and worker along with both the school and parish maintenance staff. Up to this point, the connection had been trouble free, but the water table is quite high so there are multiple potential causes for the problem. The phone system also runs though this cable.
We're investigating options to restore service. We might have to come up with a temporary solution for streaming the Christmas Eve mass to the gym.
